Team HEO and Team HNO were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Team HEO made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Sam Meisenheimer's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker. Team HEO was led by Meisenheimer, who registered one goal. Meisenheimer scored short handed 9:25 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Team HEO. Team HEO was on a disadvantage when Keenan Reynolds went off the ice for goalie interference. Others who scored for Team HEO included Tye Felhaber, William Bitten, and Zachary Poirier, who each put in one. In addition, Team HEO received assists from Jacob Ramalho, who had one and Jacob Collins, who had two. Team HNO's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Team HEO power plays. Team HNO was helped by Troy Williams, who tallied one goal. Williams scored on the power play 14:19 into the second period to make the score 2-2. An interference penalty on Reynolds had put Team HNO on the power play. Tyler Vanuden assisted on the tally. Team HNO also got a goal from Zachary West as well. Peter Brooks made 15 saves for Team HEO on 17 shots. Team HEO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Team HNO's Brock Aiken stopped 24 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Team HNO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
