Sydney Sabres survives Melbourne Whalers comeback, wins 4-3

Melbourne Whalers tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Sydney Sabres would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Cameron Todd put Sydney Sabres up 4-2 in the third period, but Melbourne Whalers pulled to within one on Paul Lazzarotto's tally 14:57 into the third period.
