Dundas holds on for 4-3 win against Brantford

The Brantford Blast tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Dundas Real McCoys would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.
With the win, the Real McCoys evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.
Stewart had a great game for Dundas, netting two goals.
The Real McCoys excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. The Blast were unable to stop Dundas from sending pucks towards the net, and the Real McCoys eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.
Dundas also had goals scored by Cam Watson and Ryan Crane, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Jerry Galway, who had two and Nick Smith, Justin Davis, Steve Hurst, and Jason Ward, who contributed one each.
Brantford kept Dundas' goalie busy throughout the game, and Daren Machesney made 30 saves on 33 shots.
Others who scored for Brantford included Chris Rebernik and Jeff Caister, who each put in one. More assists for Brantford came via Greg Bullock, who had two and Kyle Spurr, Cam Sault, and Chris Leveille, who each chipped in one.
The Real McCoys incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Brett Leggat made 32 saves for the Blast on 36 shots. Brantford incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
