The Trenton Golden Hawks beat the Kingston Voyageurs, 4-2, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout. Jason Zaleski provided Trenton with the game-winning tally when he scored 4:07 into the first period. Zach de Concilys provided the assist.With the win, the Golden Hawks evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Trenton was sparked by Mathew Thompson, who racked up one goal. Thompson scored on the power play 3:12 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Trenton. A holding penalty on Adam Brady had put the Golden Hawks on the power play. Dylan Savory assisted on the tally. Trenton's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Kingston power plays. Others who scored for Trenton included Danny Liscio and Ryan Kinsella, who each put in one. In addition, Trenton received assists from Chrisitian Lloyd, who had one. Kingston was helped by Spencer Green, who grabbed one goal. Green scored 4:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Trenton. Brandon OQuinn provided the assist. Kingston also got a goal from Mason Nowak as well. More assists for Kingston came via Michael Crocock, Michael Stevens, and Brody Heleno, who contributed one each. Denny Dubblestyne recorded 25 saves for the Golden Hawks. Trenton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Sam Tanguay made 22 saves for the Voyageurs on 25 shots. Kingston incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
