The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots relied on the sparkling performance of Evan Buitenhuis in net to grab a 5-1 win against the North York Rangers.

The win by Toronto Lakeshore clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

The Patriots were led by Nathan Feric, who grabbed one goal. Feric scored 14:21 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Toronto Lakeshore. Doug Bonar provided the assist.

Toronto Lakeshore stifled North York's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Patriots forced the Rangers goalie Jason Pucciarelli to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.
