The Twin City Steel allowed the North Iowa Bulls to net four goals during the second period and fell, 10-5. The win by North Iowa clinched the best of three series at 2-0. Cameron Brown had one goal and three assists to lead the Bulls. Brown scored 6:30 into the second period to make the score 4-1 North Iowa. Kyle Krueger assisted on the tally. North Iowa forced Twin City's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, firing 43 shots and forcing 33 saves. Jackson Germaine made 24 stops and Jared Schletty made nine. North Iowa additionally got points from Rihards Marenis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Krueger, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Ian Penvose, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Wesley Iverson, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Others who scored for North Iowa included Matt Kroska, who had two and Austin Jackson and Conor Jonasson, who each put in one. In addition, North Iowa received assists from Chancie Hanson, who had one and Dominik Florian, who had two. The Steel excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Twin City was helped by Calvin Miska, who had one goal and one assist. Miska scored on the power play 18:02 into the first period to make the score 2-1 North Iowa. The Steel earned a power play opportunity when Krueger was put in the box for elbowing. Chase Myers-Beck provided the assist. Twin City also got points from Tanner Duffney, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points, Isaac Hale, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Jace Childs, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for Twin City came via Tyler Lodin, Ben Ihrie, Jackson Bond, and Sam Basich, who each chipped in one. The Bulls' Jordan Moran stopped 25 shots out of the 30 that he faced. North Iowa incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. Twin City totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 2-for-9 on the power play. For the Steel, Jon Plaszcz was ejected from the game.
