Adam Wood stood on his head and made 27 saves to lead the Picton Pirates to a 4-1 victory over the Amherstview Jets.

With the win, Picton evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.

The Pirates were sparked by Evan Greer, who had one goal. Greer scored 5:30 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Picton.

Picton's offense rang up 35 shots on Amherstview's net.

Picton also had goals scored by Nolan Van Vlack, Jack Davison, and Kenny Murduff, who scored one goal each. In addition, Picton received assists from Brandon Peever, Brian Bunnett, Taylor Brown, Corey Prince, and Ryan Sizer, who contributed one a piece.

The Jets were led by Jordan Howe, who scored the team's only goal. Howe scored 19:34 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Dustin Kennedy provided the assist.
