Elsenheimer leads Eagan over Duluth East, 3-0

Behind a great game by Max Elsenheimer, who had two goals and one assist, the Eagan Wildcats defeated the Duluth East Greyhounds, 3-0.

Elsenheimer scored on the power play at 16:59 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Eagan and again while 6:34 into the third to make the score 2-0 Eagan.

The win gave Eagan a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Andrew Lindgren frustrated Duluth East's offense all game, and stopped 28 shots en route to a shutout.

The Wildcats put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Greyhounds to score on any of their three power plays.

Eagan also got a goal from Kyle Stebbing as well. More assists for Eagan came via Nick Wolff and #$self.jersey, who each chipped in one.

Eagan incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Gunnar Howg recorded 27 saves for Duluth East. The Greyhounds incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
