NEPEAN had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over LEASIDE.

The win by NEPEAN clinched the best of five series at 3-0.

NEPEAN was led by Shana Alexander, who racked up one goal and one assist. Alexander scored 9:59 into the second period to make the score 2-0 NEPEAN. Katryne Villeneuve provided the assist.

NEPEAN forced LEASIDE goalie Karly Stratos to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. NEPEAN did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

NEPEAN also got points from Sam Cogan, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. NEPEAN also got a goal from Jenna MacDonald as well. Other players who recorded assists for NEPEAN were Blake Orosz, Sophie Contant, and Addi Halladay, who each chipped in one.

LEASIDE did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

LEASIDE was led by Katriona McNeilly, who scored the team's only goal. McNeilly scored 17:53 into the third period to make the score 3-1 NEPEAN. Karli Sullivan (A) assisted on the tally.

Megan Halhed rejected 17 shots on goal for NEPEAN. NEPEAN registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. LEASIDE's Stratos stopped 32 shots out of the 35 that she faced. LEASIDE registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
