BURLINGTON tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but MISSISSAUGA held on for a 3-2 victory.

MISSISSAUGA took a 3-1 lead during the second period, only to have BURLINGTON storm back on a Darcy Henderson goal 19:29 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

After the loss made the series score 2-0 in the best of five series, BURLINGTON faces elimination next time out.

MISSISSAUGA was sparked by Nadine Edney, who had one goal. Edney scored 14:43 into the second period to make the score MISSISSAUGA. Ashley Rothon assisted on the tally.

MISSISSAUGA kept BURLINGTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and EJ Milne-Price made 30 saves on 33 shots.

MISSISSAUGA additionally got points from Kelly Mariani, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. MISSISSAUGA also got a goal from Kaitlin Lowy as well. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Caitlyn Sadowy, who had one and Victoria Bach, who had two.

MISSISSAUGA was unable to stop BURLINGTON from sending pucks towards the net, and BURLINGTON eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

BURLINGTON was helped by Logan Land, who grabbed one goal. Land scored 10 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Tristyn Svetek, who had one.

Amelia Boughn rejected 35 shots on goal for MISSISSAUGA. MISSISSAUGA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. BURLINGTON incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
