BRAMPTON boosted by Hunter's play in net, beats WATERLOO 4-1

Isabelle Hunter stood on her head and made 26 saves to lead BRAMPTON to a 4-1 victory over WATERLOO.

The win by BRAMPTON clinched the best of five series at 3-2.

BRAMPTON was led by Chelsea Ball, who finished with one goal. Ball scored 9:25 into the third period to make the score 2-0 BRAMPTON. Christina Ieradi (A) assisted on the tally.

BRAMPTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. BRAMPTON's offense rang up 35 shots on WATERLOO's net.

BRAMPTON also got points from Meagan OBrien, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for BRAMPTON included Lindsey Smith and Emily Landry, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for BRAMPTON were Alessia Pasquariello (A) and Jillian Battista, who contributed one each.

WATERLOO was led by Laura Irwin, who scored the team's only goal. Irwin scored 10:40 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Hannah Davidson (A) picked up the assist.

BRAMPTON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Shea Tiley made 31 saves for WATERLOO on 33 shots. WATERLOO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
