Leamington was sparked by Colin Moore, who registered one goal. Moore scored 9:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Leamington. Cale Allen assisted on the tally.

The Flyers stifled St. Marys' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Leamington forced the Lincolns goalie Andrew Masters to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots.

St. Marys put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Flyers to score on any of their five power plays.
