Sam Tanguay recorded a shutout against the Pickering Panthers as the Kingston Voyageurs picked up a 2-0 win. After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Pickering faces elimination next time out. Kingston was sparked by Alex Tonge, who had one goal. Tonge scored 1:59 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Kingston. Patrick Volpe assisted on the tally. The Voyageurs kept the Panthers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Steven Dombrosky made 40 saves on 42 shots. Michael Casale also scored for Kingston. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Adam Moodie and Brandon OQuinn, who each chipped in one. Pickering's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Kingston power plays. The Panthers forced Kingston goalie Tanguay to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots. Tanguay rejected 42 shots on goal for the Voyageurs. Kingston ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. The Voyageurs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Cole Bolton was ejected from the game. Pickering totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For the Panthers, Cam Palmer was ejected from the game.
