The game between the Kingston Voyageurs and the Pickering Panthers proved to be an even match, as Kingston took home the victory by scoring only once in a 1-0 win. Josh Hicks provided the assist on the the contest's only goal.The win gave the Voyageurs a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Kingston was led by Cole Bolton, who registered one goal. Bolton scored 18:37 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Kingston. Hicks assisted on the tally. The Voyageurs put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Pickering to score on any of its four power plays. Kingston's offense rang up 37 shots on the Panthers' net. Pickering's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Kingston power plays. Sam Tanguay made 24 saves for the Voyageurs on 24 shots. Kingston incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Steven Dombrosky recorded 36 saves for the Panthers. Pickering incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Panthers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Mike Nedoszytko was ejected from the game.
