MISSISSAUGA pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over BRAMPTON on a clutch goal by Caitlyn Sadowy.

The win gave MISSISSAUGA a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

MISSISSAUGA's Amelia Boughn was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 27 saves and let only one puck past her. The solid play of Boughn will be reflected in her goals against average, which pre-game was 1.7.

MISSISSAUGA was sparked by Sadowy, who finished with one goal and one assist. Sadowy scored 5:53 into overtime to make the score 2-1 MISSISSAUGA. Lindsay Agnew picked up the assist.

MISSISSAUGA's offense rang up 33 shots on BRAMPTON's net.

Nadine Edney also scored for MISSISSAUGA. In addition, MISSISSAUGA received assists from Laura Wood, who had one.

BRAMPTON stifled MISSISSAUGA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

BRAMPTON was led by Christina Ieradi (A), who scored the team's only goal. Ieradi (A) scored 9:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BRAMPTON. Meagan OBrien provided the assist.

MISSISSAUGA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Katie Bidulka recorded 31 saves for BRAMPTON. BRAMPTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
