WHITBY's Jaime Grigsby had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in her team's 4-1 win over BLUEWATER.

Grigsby's tallies came at 2:32 into the second period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY and 4:40 into the second to make the score 2-0 WHITBY.

The win gave WHITBY a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

WHITBY forced BLUEWATER goalie Carley Molnar to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

WHITBY also got points from Megan Sullivan (A), who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Katelyn Rae also scored for WHITBY. Other players who recorded assists for WHITBY were CJ Tipping and Alana Sims, who each chipped in one.

Kassidy Sauve made 21 saves for WHITBY on 22 shots. WHITBY incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Molnar rejected 28 shots on goal for BLUEWATER. BLUEWATER incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
