Kira Bombay made 26 saves to complete the shutout and led NEPEAN to a 6-0 win against BLUEWATER. The win gave NEPEAN a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. NEPEAN was led by Sam Cogan, who grabbed one goal. Cogan scored 4:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 NEPEAN. NEPEAN also got points from Nicole Halladay, who also racked up one goal and one assist. NEPEAN also had goals scored by Shana Alexander, who had two and Blake Orosz and Addi Halladay, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for NEPEAN were Alison MacKenzie, who had two and Katryne Villeneuve, Dallis Ferguson, Jenna MacDonald, and Sophie Contant, who contributed one each. NEPEAN incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. BLUEWATER's starting goalie, Carley Molnar, made 16 saves and finished with the loss before she was taken out in favor of Molly Jenkins, who stopped five shots. BLUEWATER incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
