The Amherstview Jets pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Port Hope Panthers on a clutch goal by Brody Taylor. The win by Amherstview clinched the best of seven series at 4-0. The Jets were sparked by Taylor, who had one goal. Taylor scored 4:39 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Amherstview. Adam Alcorn picked up the assist. In a losing effort, Port Hope was paced by Dan Lagrois, who finished with two goals. Lagrois scored the first of his two goals at 5:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Hope. Chandler Gillespie assisted on the tally. Lagrois' next tally made the score 2-1 Port Hope with 10:05 left in the third period. More assists for Port Hope came via Jacob Spicer, who had one. Amherstview incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Schell recorded 37 saves for Port Hope. The Panthers incurred 38 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
