The Uxbridge Bruins had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over the Clarington Eagles. Uxbridge evened the best of seven series at 3-3 and forced a deciding game seven. Clarington's power play was ineffective against the Bruins' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Uxbridge was paced by Jarett Smith, who had one goal and one assist. Smith scored on the power play 10:06 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Uxbridge. A hooking penalty on Jake Choiniere had put the Bruins on the power play. Matt Allen provided the assist. Uxbridge stifled the Eagles' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Uxbridge also got points from Allen, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Carter Vahey also scored for Uxbridge. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Adam Bartholomew, Korey Brand, and Matt Pollard, who contributed one a piece and Connor Miller and Connor Beck, who each chipped in two. Clarington's offense rang up 43 shots on the Bruins' net. The Eagles struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Uxbridge to score three power play goals on five chances. Others who scored for Clarington included Jake Carter and Blane Gaudon, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Clarington were Austin Collins and Brent Hambly, who contributed one a piece. Max Tjin rejected 41 shots on goal for the Bruins. Uxbridge incurred 52 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. For the Bruins, Bartholomew and Marco Mastrangelo were ejected from the contest. Visca recorded 39 saves for Clarington. The Eagles incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
