Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm) tried its best to erase a five-goal deficit, but Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-4.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) made the score 6-1 on a goal by Daniel Tycznski at 10:49 in the second period, and Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm) got as close as 6-4 when William Lockwood scored 2:11 into the third period.

Collin Rutherford was all over the ice for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm), as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Rutherford scored on the power play 14:46 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm).
