Clayton Chalmers netted a hat trick to lead the Paris Mounties over the Delhi Travellers, 9-1.

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Delhi faces elimination next time out.

Paris scored early and often, and held a 5-0 advantage after the first 20 minutes of play.

The Travellers fell victim to a deadly the Mounties power play, which ripped Delhi for four goals.

Paris excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. The Mounties kept the Travellers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nick Heath made 38 saves on 47 shots.

Paris additionally got points from Brian Mueller, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Graham Kitching, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Richard Brooks, who also finished with two goals and three assists to lead the team in points, Scott Sippel, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Ian Fowler, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
