Thamesford's Mandrapilias deadly on offense in 6-3 win against North Middlesex

Stavros Mandrapilias was all over the ice for the Thamesford Trojans, as he tallied two goals in Thamesford's 6-3 win over the North Middlesex Stars.

Mandrapilias' tallies came at 3:31 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Thamesford and on the power play 16:40 into the second to make the score 4-3 Thamesford.

The Trojans forced North Middlesex goalie Alex Foster to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Thamesford cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on five chances.

Thamesford also got points from Marcus Gverzdys, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jake Saunders, who also had one goal and one assist, and Kyle Walker, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Thamesford also got a goal from Andrew McLennan as well. More assists for Thamesford came via James Toye, Alex Lumani, Adam Levine, Liam Carson, Dylan Black, and Mitch Davies, who contributed one a piece.

The Stars were helped by Tom Bedour, who tallied one goal. Bedour scored 48 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-2. Kyle Evans assisted on the tally. North Middlesex additionally got points from Scott Boone, who also registered one goal and one assist. Spencer Kading also scored for North Middlesex. In addition, North Middlesex received assists from Taylor Moir, who had two and Greg Apps and Dylan Carroll, who each chipped in one.

Alex Hutcheson rejected 17 shots on goal for the Trojans. Thamesford incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Foster recorded 33 saves for North Middlesex. The Stars incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
