Renfrew Timberwolves survived a determined comeback attempt by Shawville Pontiacs on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by Sean Kyte put Renfrew Timberwolves up 5-3 in the third period, but Shawville Pontiacs pulled to within one on Liam Poirier's tally 9:07 into the third period.

Renfrew Timberwolves pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

Renfrew Timberwolves additionally got points from Scott Conroy, who also had one goal and one assist.
