Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) survives Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) comeback, wins 5-3

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM), but did just enough to escape with a 5-3 victory.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM)'s Eric Carreras's scored at 17:30 in the second period to put Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) up 4-1.

Andrew Romano had one goal and two assists to lead Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). Romano scored 17:51 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). Michael Merulla provided the assist.

In the losing effort, Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) was paced by Wes Fry, who registered two goals. Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) was unable to stop Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) also got points from Merulla, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
