Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and LA Jr. Kings (MM) shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-0.

LA Jr. Kings (MM) was led by Kohl Donovan, who had one goal. Donovan scored on the power play 12:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LA Jr. Kings (MM).
