Colorado Thunderbirds (mm) survived a determined comeback attempt by Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) on the way to a 4-2 win.

A goal by Brian Hawkinson put Colorado Thunderbirds (mm) up 4-1 in the third period, but Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) pulled to within two on Connor Stuart's tally 3:36 into the third period.
