Chicago Fury (mm) holds on for 4-3 win against LA Jr. Kings (mm)

LA Jr. Kings (mm) tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Chicago Fury (mm) held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by TRAVIS SCHNEIDER put Chicago Fury (mm) up 4-1 in the third period, but LA Jr. Kings (mm) pulled to within one on Kailer Yamamoto's tally 15:32 into the third period.

Vladimir Studennikov had two goals and one assist to lead Chicago Fury (mm). Studennikov scored the first of his two goals at 13:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chicago Fury (mm). MICHAEL ZUFFANTE assisted on the tally. Studennikov's next tally made the score 3-1 Chicago Fury (mm) with 3:23 left in the second period. KYLE KEATING picked up the assist.

Chicago Fury (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LA Jr. Kings (mm) to score on any of its six power plays. Chicago Fury (mm) kept LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Garrett Nieto made 27 saves on 31 shots.

Chicago Fury (mm) additionally got points from SCHNEIDER, who also finished with one goal and one assist. JOHNNY PESEK also scored for Chicago Fury (mm). In addition, Chicago Fury (mm) received assists from CODY ESPOSITO, BRENDAN AIRD, and MICHAEL ALTOBELLI, who each chipped in one.

LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Chicago Fury (mm) power plays. LA Jr. Kings (mm) forced Chicago Fury (mm) goalie PETER THOME to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.
