:El Paso Rhinos uses fast start to beat :New Mexico Renegades, 10-1

:New Mexico Renegades fell behind early, and :El Paso Rhinos kept piling on the points on the way to a 10-1 victory.

:El Paso Rhinos got the win with help from a great game by Tom Bartel, who had two goals and two assists. Bartel scored the first of his two goals at 57 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 :El Paso Rhinos. Peter Plesa assisted on the tally. Bartel's next tally made the score 6-0 :El Paso Rhinos with 2:04 left in the first period.

:El Paso Rhinos was led by goalie Isaak Tjaden, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. Despite the solid performance, Tjaden will actually see his goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.0 entering the contest.

:El Paso Rhinos forced :New Mexico Renegades' goalies to work without much rest, taking 45 shots and forcing 35 saves. Ryan Sandrin made 10 stops and Brendan Hanser made 25.

:El Paso Rhinos additionally got points from Dakota Beaulieu, who also registered one goal and one assist, Plesa, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Matthew Plesa, who also had one goal and one assist. :El Paso Rhinos also had goals scored by Kendal Craig, who had one and Lucas Dickison and Trey Hughes, who scored two goals each. In addition, :El Paso Rhinos received assists from Eliot Herz, Halen Sampson, Nick Plesa, and Jeremy Rezaeepour, who each chipped in one.

Zach Comfort also scored for :New Mexico Renegades. Other players who recorded assists for :New Mexico Renegades were Cameron Mikkelson, who had one.

:El Paso Rhinos incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with 13 minors. :New Mexico Renegades incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
