Kavanagh's goals lift Adelaide Adrenaline to 8-3 victory over Brisbane Goannas

Adelaide Adrenaline relied on the scoring touch of Bethanie Kavanagh, who netted four goals, to beat Brisbane Goannas, 8-3.

Kavanagh got on the scoresheet 1:58 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:21 into the first, at 14:45 into the first, and at 10:32 into the third.

Brisbane Goannas' 10 penalties came back to haunt it, as Brisbane Goannas let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Adelaide Adrenaline excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Adelaide Adrenaline outdid its season average for goals scored. Adelaide Adrenaline averages 4.2 goals per game. Adelaide Adrenaline's offense was clicking better than usual and put 41 shots on goal during the game, better than the 4.0 shots per game it averages.

Adelaide Adrenaline also got points from Natalie Ayris, who also had one goal and one assist and Kate Tihema, who also racked up two goals and one assist.
