Hartley got on the board by slotting home a goal 17:23 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa Canadians. Matthew Shaheen provided the assist. Giuseppe (Joey) Sollazzo dished an assist on Andrew Leung's goal that made the score 5-3 Ottawa Canadians at 12:12 into the third period.
