St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) survives penalties, beats Chicago Fury (mm), 5-1

Chicago Fury (mm) failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) shook off a number of penalties to win, 5-1.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) was led by Trent Frederic, who grabbed one goal. Frederic scored 7:29 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (mm). Joshua Dunne provided the assist.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) stifled Chicago Fury (mm)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) forced Chicago Fury (mm) goalie VINNIE PURPURA to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) found itself short handed often, totaling 14 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays.

Others who scored for St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) included Brandon Puricelli, who had two and Josh Bell and Ethan Stahlhuth, who each put in one. In addition, St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) received assists from Luke Martin, Ben Rucker, Ty Farmer, Zach Solow, and Nick Schnelle, who contributed one a piece.
