Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) wins tough contest against Team Comcast (mm), 6-4

The game between Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) and Team Comcast (mm) was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) emerged with a 6-4 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Christopher Berger secured the win for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) with a goal in the third period.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) got the win behind a great game by David Kompson, who had two goals and one assist. Kompson scored the first of his two goals at 12:29 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm). Nicholas Alfieri assisted on the tally. Kompson's next tally made the score 6-4 Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) with 3:44 left in the third period. Collin Rutherford provided the assist.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) forced Team Comcast (mm) goalie Corbin Gustafson to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm)'s defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) also got points from Owen Green, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) also got a goal from Matthew Mazza as well. In addition, Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) received assists from Joseph Cecconi, who had two and Michael Bevilacqua, Joshua Biasillo, Ryan Peters, and Matthew Damico, who each chipped in one.

Jordin Holmes also scored for Team Comcast (mm). More assists for Team Comcast (mm) came via Chayse Primeau, who had one and Dave Melargani, who had three.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm)'s Bobby Dugan stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. Gustafson rejected 27 shots on goal for Team Comcast (mm). Team Comcast (mm) incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
