Colorado Thunderbirds (mm) had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm).

Zach Walker was all over the ice for Colorado Thunderbirds (mm), as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Walker scored the first of his two goals at 9:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Colorado Thunderbirds (mm). Willy Doremus picked up the assist. Walker's next tally made the score 5-0 Colorado Thunderbirds (mm) with 18:18 left in the third period. Ashton Fry provided the assist.
