Colorado Rampage (mm) outlasts Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm), 4-2

Colorado Rampage (mm) and Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Colorado Rampage (mm) made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Andrew Vanderbeck's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Vanderbeck had two goals to lead Colorado Rampage (mm) to victory.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) was unable to stop Colorado Rampage (mm) from sending pucks towards the net, and Colorado Rampage (mm) eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Colorado Rampage (mm) found itself short handed often, totaling 14 penalty minutes and allowing four power plays. Colorado Rampage (mm)'s power play was punchless, and failed to score a single goal despite having nine power play opportunities.

Colorado Rampage (mm) also got points from Alex Truscott, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Nicholas Halloran, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Colorado Rampage (mm) received assists from Bo Hanson and Carson Briske, who contributed one a piece.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) stifled Colorado Rampage (mm)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) was helped by Austyn Playfair, who registered one goal. Playfair scored 2:34 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Brett Dillon picked up the assist.
