Team Wisconsin took the lead against the Team North Muscle Milk in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 4-2 victory.

A goal 10:01 into the the first period by Jake Bresser proved to be the game winner, and powered Team Wisconsin to the victory Michael Wilson picked up the assist.

Team North's power play was ineffective against Team Wisconsin's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Team Wisconsin was sparked by Connor Blanck, who grabbed one goal. Blanck scored 12:11 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Team Wisconsin.

Team Wisconsin made the Muscle Milk's netminders to work in net, racking up 39 shots and forcing 35 saves. Gabe Heifort made five stops and Hunter Shepard made 30. Team Wisconsin's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Team North power plays.

Team Wisconsin also got points from Wilson, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Cooper Watson also scored for Team Wisconsin. More assists for Team Wisconsin came via Charlie Graaskamp, who had one.

Team North racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and one major for 33 minutes in penalty time. The Muscle Milk surpassed its season average of 21.0 penalty minutes per game. Team North excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 10 chances. The Muscle Milk kept Team Wisconsin's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Wischow made 32 saves on 34 shots.

Team North was helped by Chris Pohlkamp, who tallied one goal. Pohlkamp scored 16:35 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Team Wisconsin. Jack Jenson provided the assist. Team North also got a goal from Carter Roo as well. In addition, Team North received assists from Cole Smith and Tanner Tweten, who each chipped in one.

Team Wisconsin incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
