Team Wisconsin took the lead against the Team North Muscle Milk in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 4-2 victory. A goal 10:01 into the the first period by Jake Bresser proved to be the game winner, and powered Team Wisconsin to the victory Michael Wilson picked up the assist.Team North's power play was ineffective against Team Wisconsin's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Team Wisconsin was sparked by Connor Blanck, who grabbed one goal. Blanck scored 12:11 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Team Wisconsin. Team Wisconsin made the Muscle Milk's netminders to work in net, racking up 39 shots and forcing 35 saves. Gabe Heifort made five stops and Hunter Shepard made 30. Team Wisconsin's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Team North power plays.
