Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) held on for a 2-1 victory.

A goal by Eric Szczecinski put Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) up 2-0 in the third period, but Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) pulled to within one on Paul Maust's tally 12:13 into the third period.
