Traverse City Hounds tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Detroit Fighting Irish would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

Detroit Fighting Irish took a 3-1 lead during the second period, only to have Traverse City Hounds storm back on a Tyler Thirlby goal 18 seconds into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Detroit Fighting Irish got the win with help from a great game by Anthony Wojciechowski, who had one goal and two assists. Wojciechowski scored 10:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Detroit Fighting Irish.

Detroit Fighting Irish also got points from Jacob Hernandez, who also registered one goal and one assist. Detroit Fighting Irish also got a goal from Robert Danyo as well.
