Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as zTraverse City Hounds defeated xDetroit Fighting Irish in a shootout 3-2 (2-1 SO).

The two teams needed 10 turns to complete the shootout. xDetroit Fighting Irish got a shootout goal from Ryan Santo. In addition to the clincher, zTraverse City Hounds got a shootout goal from Grant McCormack.

Speer picked up the assist.
