Traverse City Hounds blows out Michigan Ice Dogs, 6-0

Traverse City Hounds had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over Michigan Ice Dogs.

Kevin Miloser had two goals to lead Traverse City Hounds to victory. Miloser scored at 4:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Traverse City Hounds and again while 16:43 into the third to make the score 5-0 Traverse City Hounds.

Traverse City Hounds' penalty kill excelled, as Traverse City Hounds gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Traverse City Hounds stifled Michigan Ice Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Traverse City Hounds' offense rang up 63 shots on Michigan Ice Dogs' net. Traverse City Hounds was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 28 penalty minutes.
