Berkley Bruins tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Bloomington Jr Blaze held on for a 2-1 victory.

A goal by Micah Young put Bloomington Jr Blaze up 2-0 in the first period, but Berkley Bruins pulled to within one on Shane Zigman's tally 17:35 into the third period.

Bloomington Jr Blaze was paced by Young, who had one goal. Young scored on the power play 13:06 into the first period to make the score Bloomington Jr Blaze. Bloomington Jr Blaze earned a power play opportunity when Brice Kinney was put in the box for hooking. Dylan Farmer assisted on the tally.
