Andrew Holder had two goals to lead Soo Firehawks to a 5-2 victory over Traverse City Hounds.

Holder's tallies came at 10:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Soo Firehawks and on the power play 1:04 into the third to make the score 3-1 Soo Firehawks.

Soo Firehawks stifled Traverse City Hounds' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Soo Firehawks kept Traverse City Hounds' goalie busy throughout the game, and David Krejcik made 29 saves on 34 shots.

Nicholas Murphy also scored for Soo Firehawks. Other players who recorded assists for Soo Firehawks were Ryan Marshall, Anthony Laaksonen, Dakota Boissoneau, and Taylor McRorie, who each chipped in one.
