Bloomington Jr Blaze falls to Berkley Bruins in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Berkley Bruins pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over Bloomington Jr Blaze on a clutch goal by Colton James.

Berkley Bruins came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Berkley Bruins trailed 4-2 after a power play goal by Bloomington Jr Blaze's Duncan Irvine at 16:23 in the second period. Berkley Bruins knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Timothy Muhsman at 1:09 in the third period.

Berkley Bruins was paced on offense by Grant McCormack and James, who combined for four points. McCormack registered two goals and one assist and James also added one goal.

Berkley Bruins forced Bloomington Jr Blaze goalie Paul Stomper to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Tristan Cruz also scored for Berkley Bruins. In addition, Berkley Bruins received assists from Brice Kinney, who had one and Austin Wilson, Shane Zigman, and Joseph Hays, who each chipped in two.

Berkley Bruins was unable to stop Bloomington Jr Blaze from sending pucks towards the net, and Bloomington Jr Blaze eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

Bloomington Jr Blaze additionally got points from Micah Young, who also had one goal and one assist. Bloomington Jr Blaze also got a goal from Justus Kree as well. More assists for Bloomington Jr Blaze came via John Urmetz, who had one, Jorey Skelton, who had two, and Dylan Farmer, who had three.

Brandon Bawol made 35 saves for Berkley Bruins on 39 shots. Berkley Bruins incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. Stomper recorded 28 saves for Bloomington Jr Blaze. Bloomington Jr Blaze incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
