Behind a great game by Nolan Jakrzewski, who had one goal and two assists, Detroit Fighting Irish defeated Berkley Bruins, 5-1.

Jakrzewski beat Kory Dombrowski with a shot 19:26 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Detroit Fighting Irish. Jakrzewski dished an assist on James Smith's goal that made the score 1-0 Detroit Fighting Irish at 5:23 into the first period. He added another helper on Ryan Santo's goal that made the score 4-1 Detroit Fighting Irish at 14:31 into the third period.

Detroit Fighting Irish stifled Berkley Bruins' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Detroit Fighting Irish kept Berkley Bruins' goalie busy throughout the game, and Dombrowski made 28 saves on 33 shots.
