A stellar performance between the pipes by David Krejcik helped Traverse City Hounds defeat Bloomington Jr Blaze, 4-1.

Traverse City Hounds' penalty kill excelled, as Traverse City Hounds gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Traverse City Hounds was led by Cam Fisher, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Fisher scored 15:48 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Traverse City Hounds. Scott Luca picked up the assist.

Traverse City Hounds forced Bloomington Jr Blaze goalie Cameron Lerner to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

Traverse City Hounds also had goals scored by Tyler Thirlby, who had one and Jacob Gillis, who had two. More assists for Traverse City Hounds came via Jordan Ruterbusch, Clayton Dowlan, and Austin Flores, who contributed one a piece.

Bloomington Jr Blaze's offense rang up 33 shots on Traverse City Hounds' net.

Bloomington Jr Blaze was led by Micah Young, who scored the team's only goal. Young scored on the power play 10:55 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington Jr Blaze. Bloomington Jr Blaze had gotten the advantage when Traverse City Hounds' Patrick Rogowski was sent off for cross checking. Dylan Farmer provided the assist.

Krejcik rejected 32 shots on goal for Traverse City Hounds. Traverse City Hounds incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Bloomington Jr Blaze's Lerner stopped 40 shots out of the 44 that he faced. Bloomington Jr Blaze incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
