Traverse City Hounds survives Berkley Bruins comeback, wins 7-5

Berkley Bruins tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but Traverse City Hounds would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 7-5.

Traverse City Hounds took a 7-3 lead during the third period, only to have Berkley Bruins storm back on a Grant McCormack goal 16:56 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Garrison Sanipass and Patrick Rogowski provided the spark for Traverse City Hounds, combining for three goals and four assists. Sanipass had two goals and two assists and Rogowski also notched one goal and two assists.

Traverse City Hounds racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 14 minors and three majors for 63 minutes in penalty time. Traverse City Hounds surpassed its season average of 45.0 penalty minutes per game. Traverse City Hounds was held below its usual level of production.
