LA Jr. Kings (mm) had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Thunder AAA Hockey (mm). LA Jr. Kings (mm) got the win with help from a great game by Evan Johnson, who had two goals and one assist. Johnson scored the first of his two goals at 8:42 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Kailer Yamamoto picked up the assist. Johnson's next tally made the score 4-2 LA Jr. Kings (mm) with 3:58 left in the second period. LA Jr. Kings (mm) earned a power play opportunity when ZACH BENNETT was put in the box for checking from behind. Yamamoto assisted on the tally.
