Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) vanquishes Colorado Rampage (mm) in shootout, 2-1 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) defeated Colorado Rampage (mm) in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. Colorado Rampage (mm) got a shootout goal from Andrew Vanderbeck. In addition to the clincher, Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) got a shootout goal from COHEN DAVID.

Colorado Rampage (mm)'s power play was ineffective against Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Colorado Rampage (mm) to score on any of its six power plays.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) was led by ZACH ZALAR, who had one goal. ZALAR scored 2:04 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Thunder AAA Hockey (mm). BRADLEY INGERSOLL provided the assist. More assists for Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) came via JOSH WILKINS, who had one.

Colorado Rampage (mm) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Colorado Rampage (mm) was led by Vanderbeck, who scored the team's only goal. Vanderbeck scored 11:50 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Cater Yang picked up the assist.
