Chicago Fury (MM) outlasts Colorado Rampage (MM), 3-2

Chicago Fury (MM) gutted out a close 3-2 win against Colorado Rampage (MM).

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jason Kowalczyk secured the win for Chicago Fury (MM) with a goal in the third period.

Kowalczyk had two goals to lead Chicago Fury (MM) to victory.

Danny Zielecki also scored for Chicago Fury (MM). Other players who recorded assists for Chicago Fury (MM) were Jet Bell, who had two and SCOTT SWANSON, Anthony Flores, and Thomas Martyn, who each chipped in one.

Colorado Rampage (MM) did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up only one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was helped by JJ (James Jr.) Huerena, who racked up one goal. Huerena scored on the power play 2:59 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Colorado Rampage (MM) had gained a power play chance when Ryan Bales was whistled for tripping. Jake Suter assisted on the tally. Colorado Rampage (MM) also got points from Suter, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Colorado Rampage (MM) received assists from Logan Speelman, who had one.

Chicago Fury (MM)'s BRYAN ABELL stopped 19 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Chicago Fury (MM) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Garrett Metcalf rejected 13 shots on goal for Colorado Rampage (MM). Colorado Rampage (MM) registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
