KINGSTON falls to OAKVILLE in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Jennifer MacAskill (C) gave OAKVILLE a 2-1 (OT) victory over KINGSTON when she scored 16 seconds into the extra period.

KINGSTON was stymied by OAKVILLE netminder Stephanie Loukes, who stopped 32 shots during the victory. Loukes certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 2.96 entering the contest.

OAKVILLE was led by MacAskill (C), who registered one goal.

OAKVILLE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow KINGSTON to score on any of its four power plays. KINGSTON was unable to stop OAKVILLE from sending pucks towards the net, and OAKVILLE eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Olivia Atkinson (A) also scored for OAKVILLE. More assists for OAKVILLE came via Alessia Marchese and Cassidy MacPherson, who contributed one a piece.

KINGSTON forced OAKVILLE goalie Loukes to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

KINGSTON was led by Natalie Graham, who scored the team's only goal. Graham scored 2:27 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Mariah Wilson provided the assist.

OAKVILLE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jensen Murphy rejected 29 shots on goal for KINGSTON. KINGSTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
