BRAMPTON uses early goal to top LONDON, 3-1

BRAMPTON took the lead against LONDON in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 3-1 victory.

BRAMPTON took over the lead for good with a goal by Meagan OBrien at 10:17 in the first period. Alessia Pasquariello assisted on the tally.

BRAMPTON was sparked by Christina Ieradi, who registered one goal and one assist. Ieradi scored 12:45 into the second period to make the score 2-0 BRAMPTON. Chelsea Ball picked up the assist.

BRAMPTON managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. BRAMPTON finished below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game.

BRAMPTON also got points from Pasquariello, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for BRAMPTON came via Jillian Battista and Alicia Waddingham, who contributed one a piece.

LONDON stifled BRAMPTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

LONDON was led by Nicole Miners, who scored the team's only goal. Miners scored 4:13 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Kaylie Dennis (A) provided the assist.

BRAMPTON's Katie Bidulka stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that she faced. BRAMPTON registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. Lauren Dubie rejected 20 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
